Can a quadrilateral with four equal sides have less than four lines of symmetry?
Q:
Can a quadrilateral with four equal sides have less than four lines of symmetry?
Accepted Solution
A:
Quadrilaterals with 4 equal sides include: squares (I.e. all 4 angles in the shape equal to 90°) and rhombuses (I.e. a diamond shape).
Squares have four lines of symmetry, but rhombuses only have 2 each.
Hope this helps! :)
