We know to add or subtract a fraction, the denominators should be the same

Here let us only work with the denominators

w² + w - 2          and                w²+ 7w + 10
      ↓             Factorise both            ↓
( w - 1 )( w + 2 )                          ( w + 2 )( w + 5 )
We see that ( w + 2 ) is common for both denominators
We need to multiply the first fraction by ( w + 5 ) and the second by ( w - 1 ) to have the least common denominator

( w - 1 )( w + 2 )( w + 5 )          and           ( w + 2 )( w + 5 )( w - 1 )

Your answer will be option 1
